Information you give us
We only collect personal information when you choose to send it to us:
- Roof help finder and checklist forms: your email address and, if you provide them, your first name, roof type, the topic you need help with and your ZIP or postcode.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and, optionally, your first name.
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number and your message.
- Comments: the name, email and website you enter, plus the comment itself.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. When you submit a form we store a shortened (anonymised) version of your IP address to help us block spam. If we use analytics or advertising services, they set cookies only after you agree to them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or block cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
